Ms. Fahmy is a prominent member of the development community in Egypt. She has been active for over 25 years in the design and management of multi-sector development programs in Egypt and the Arab region. During this tenure, Ms. Fahmy managed a multimillion dollar portfolio of projects funded by multilateral and bilateral international organizations focusing primarily on the environment, SME development, as well as policy and research. Over the last 10 years, she has held a number of senior executive functions on these programs where she assumed lead responsibility for corporate support, business development, and contract management.
It was with this knowhow and acumen that Ms. Fahmy created the Environment and Development Group (EDG), in January, 2009. As one of the founding partners, she continues to support development efforts and environmental sustainability in Egypt.
Dr. Saleh is an environmental scientist who has more than 30 years of experience in consulting, research and development, and teaching. He has a proven track record in the development, coordination, analysis, and management of complex environmental projects. He has also led multidisciplinary teams conducting numerous environmental impact assessments, environmental and social due diligence and risk assessment studies, and environmental resource assessments.
Dr. Saleh's university experience spans the better part of three decades. He has been teaching Ecology and Environmental Science at Al Azhar University since 1987.
